David Ganderton was SO helpful - by far the most helpful lawyer/law firm I spoke to out of about a dozen I tried. He not only personally called me back after I left a message, but he spent a good amount of time talking to me and explaining things to me just because he is kind. I got a ticket that seemed like a huge deal and he reassured me that it really wasn't (despite plenty of other law firms advising me that I could end up in jail, etc. if I didn't get a lawyer very quickly). He actually gave me advice that allowed me to confidently handle my court date myself, and I had an even better outcome than I could have imagined. And he charged me NOTHING and advised that I could hire and pay him to handle it for me, but that there likely wouldn't be any difference than if I did xyz myself. At least 3 of the other law firms I called wanted to charge me $5-8k, and that was after only consulting with their paralegal - they wouldn't even let me talk to a lawyer, despite me offering to pay whatever their hourly rate is. They all wanted a contract and a large sum to speak to anyone other than a paralegal. I was able to consult with a couple lawyers from other firms too, but each one of them was very rude, would interrupt me when I was speaking and just spoke very condescendingly to me in general. It made me incredibly anxious to continue to call lawyers, so I was rambling a bit due to just being so nervous about the whole thing, and David handled it with such compassion and patience.
